EV6: Day 7: Pöchlarn 🇦🇹 to Vienna 🇦🇹

Today I cycled the 133 kilometers to Vienna. The weather was again better than anticipated: sunshine at times, however pretty cold.

I had booked myself a bed in a hostel in Vienna already. Or at least I thought so. Apparently I messed up and had booked a bed in Venice in the same hostel chain. 😵

However, fortunately the Vienna hostel still had a bed available and were able to cancel the other one in Venice.

I mostly spent the evening doing a complete laundry and drying cycle with all my stuff. I felt too tired (and I guess a little too old) to participate in the other hostel activities / drinking games.

I slept in a fully booked five bed room, however didn’t sleep well: With me, there was one mentally unstable person in the room, who stood up several times in the night started speaking to himself (even singing), pretending his umbrella was a sword, and kept turning the lights on. I had earplugs in and slept with a sleeping mask, but I still wasn’t spared from this insanity.
